Wedding Musician

Violin or Piano Solo
I am an experienced wedding musician that has been playing for ceremonies in Seattle, WA and surrounding areas for over 10 years. Over the last ten years I have preformed at a variety of weddings styles and locations: indoor, outdoor, churchs, cathedrals, Space Needle, a variety of outdoor parks around Seattle, the Bellingham ferry terminal, Christian, Jewish, Catholic, and so on. My music is flexible enough to accomodate all styles of weddings.
The music at your ceremony sets the tone of your wedding. If you want traditional, unique, contemporary, religious, casual, the music helps set the background and mood of your ceremony. Live classical music in your ceremony helps add a touch of elegance.  The violin also works great for outdoor weddings, because it is portable and loud! A piano must be on sight for the pianist, I do not transport pianos.
If you are interested in more information, or would like to set up a meeting out of my home studio to hear songs from my wedding collections, please contact me with the date/time/location of your wedding.
You can select and customize your wedding repertoire from my collection of appropriate wedding ceremony music, which includes: Pachobel's Canon, Bach Air, Ave Maria, Trumpet Voluntary, Wedding March, Handel, Mozart, Back, Hadyn. I also take requests or suggest selections if you are unsure. The sheet music must be provided for specially requested music.
RATES: I am based out of Bothell, WA. Rates start at $175 + traveling fee. Local weddings will be the most affordable. I can also arrange a violin duet.
The price that you pay includes:
#1) A 30 minute consultation, in which you hear me play and can personally select your ceremony songs.
#2) 20+ minutes of light classical prelude music. I usually choose these songs for you, they are usually light classical: Bach, Mozart, Haydn, and so forth. I start playing about 20 minutes before a wedding, and play until the ceremony begins.
#3) Your personally selected ceremony songs.
#4) A recessional of your choice and several guest recessional songs.

"Laura is a delightful musician and person.   When selecting music for our wedding, she was patient, attentive, organized and made us feel so much at ease that we immediately booked her.  During the wedding, she arrived well before the wedding, everyone loved the music she played - in short everything you can hope for.  She is a professional, has reasonable rates, and is very experienced playing for wedding.  We would highly recommend her to anyone." You and your associate played beautifully, adding a touch of elegance to my simple outdoor wedding. I was overwhelmed with joy and shocked at the same time.  The sound of your violins were heard the minute I got out of the car.  I really wanted to run up to you and give you a hug!

The entire experience with you was priceless.

Thank you sooooo much!
