Violin Sales
I sell and rent a variety of violins. New violins that I have inspected and have been professionally adjusted, and also I have a variety of older used violins that I have personally selected and outfitted. All of these violins are rented and sold with brand new Thomastic Dominant strings, cases, and bows.
Violins come with a 30 day return policy. Do not risk buying a violin on Craigslist or Ebay that you cannot play first, compare to several other violins, or return if it is not working out. Be very wary of most of the violins under $300- $400, they will not sound good, be very hard to play, and not stay in tune.
I offer quality, playable instruments much cheaper than local music stores, Mills & Kennellys: whos employees do not always have personal violin knowledge. Because I am a musician with 20 years of violin experience and nine years of teaching experience, I take a personal interest in outfitting my students the the best violin for their personality and price range.
Rental Policies
My high quality rental violins are new German or Czeck violins, or refurbed used instruments in like new quality.
Rental Fee is $26.99/month.
The minimum (non-refundable) rental period is three months.
Rental payment is due on the first day of each rental period and will be automatically charged on the credit card provided.
80% of rental price, not including tax, is credited toward purchase of any like instrument. All credit is lost if rental is not renewed after three months. Rental credits can be acquired for up to 100% of the value of the violin being rented. Rental credits cannot be used toward the purchase of consignment instruments, upgraded bows, or accessories.
If the rented violin is not purchased, damage resulting from neglect or mistreatment, such as broken and lost parts, body damage including scratches and dents, will result in extra charges for the renter. If the instrument is lost or stolen, the renter is responsible for the full price of the instrument.
Rental fees do not cover the replacement of broken strings. Broken strings must be replaced with Thomastic Dominant brand strings.
Supplies I also stock all accessories and books needed for taking lessons. Accessories include: Wolf and Kun shoulder rests, chin rests, Thomastic Dominant strings, dampits, tuners, metronomes, rosin, cleaning supplies, violin wall hangers, mutes, bows, cases... Books for sale include most popular methods and a variety of supplimentary materials: all kinds fiddle music, jazz violin, classical violin, pop hits, Christmas music, and more.

4/4 1931 European $800
This is an absolutely beautiful full size professional level violin. It is at least 80 years old, and probably a conservatory European violin. It has had extensive work done on it: a new bridge and pegs, sound post adjustment, new Wondertone Solo strings, new tuners, and a matching end pin, tail piece, chin rest, and pegs in ornate boxwood.
This violin has a warm,clean tone. It's not overly loud, with a great mellow personality. This violin is a set above a beginner violin. It's perfect for an adult student, a child's orchestra violin, a serious beginner, or someone who wants a beautiful unique violin.
The back of the violin is "birds eye", which is reserved for the best of the violins. It is really pretty and unique looking, see pictures.

Violin cases are taking over my studio bathroom! I sell oblong, solid plastic, and form fitting violin cases.
