About the Instructor

Hello! My name is Laura Roundy, owner and operator of Roundy Music Studios. I currently own two different teaching locations: Arlington and Bothell, WA. I have been teaching private violin and piano lessons full time for over 9 years, and have taught over 1000 students of all ages and backgrounds. In 2005, I graduated with honors from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics. Now I have been playing violin for 20 years and piano for 18 years. Growing up, I took both classical piano and violin from a variety of the best local instructors. Professionally, I enjoy being a member of the Cascade Symphony with my violin, and on the piano I am the holiday pianist at the Everett Mall. Each year, I provide beautiful wedding ceremony music to as many as 10 weddings per year. Finally, I am putting to good use my acquired violin knowledge selling and renting quality violins and supplies and reasonable prices for my students.

Personally, I live with my wonderful husband and two dogs in Bothell. In my free time I enjoy painting, house projects, and spending time with my close family and friends.
